This abstract composition evokes the spiritual and architectural legacy of prehistoric Malta through symbolic geometry and earthy resonance. At its center stands a stylized figure with raised arms—an emblem of the Sun-Mother or fertility goddess—radiating presence and ritual significance. Surrounding her are motifs drawn from Neolithic temple architecture: spiral carvings, megalithic doorways, and cave-like sanctuaries rendered in ochre, olive, teal and terracotta tones. The rhythmic interplay of sun symbols and tree-like forms suggests a cosmology rooted in nature and celestial cycles. With its layered shapes and harmonious palette, the piece invites contemplation of Malta’s ancient matriarchal cultures, where earth, sky, and stone converged in sacred balance.
